Thiam posted his first double-digit scoring effort in just his second career game. The 7'2" freshman posted 13 points after having struggled offensively in his first game against Texas A&M though he was able to make his presence known defensively in that contest, redirecting six Aggie shots on the evening. Thiam has earned the starting center role early in the season for the Golden Knights and has already proven that he can impact the game on both ends of the court through his first two games.
