Northweather hit a couple of key threes midway through the second half in an attempt to keep the Sooners close. The freshman center had not seen action in the previous two games and five of the last eight, but saw more minutes on Saturday (8) than he had in those eight games combined (7). His rise in minutes did coincide with foul trouble for reserve center John Hugley. At this point, there's little reason to expect Northweather to see consistent playing time moving forward.
