Despite entering the NCAA Tournament with an injury scare from the Big 12 tournament, Watts put forth a combined 30 points and 13 boards in two rounds of The Big Dance. It was enough to get past Akron, but Texas Tech ultimately couldn't overcome its overall injury woes, as the Red Raiders were ran out of the gym by Alabama. If Watts chooses to stick around for his senior season -- which is no guarantee given he's been to three schools in as many years -- he could see more offensive opportunities, depending on the status of JT Toppin (knee).
