Head coach Kelvin Sampson revealed that Jefferson (knee) plans to return to Houston for the 2026-27 season, per Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle.

ANALYSIS
Jefferson appears set to return to Houston for his third season. The 6-foot-3 sophomore suffered a season-ending knee injury after playing just three games with the Cougars this past season. He will retain two years of elgibility moving forward.
