Burks let it rip from deep, connecting on 5-of-12 from downtown en route to a team-leading 23 points as the Knights snapped a three-game skid. The junior forward, who also added seven boards, a block and a steal, matched a season high with the point total and has now topped 20 on three occasions this season. Following a slow start to the Big 12 slate that saw him average just 8.0 points on 32.1-percent shooting from the field through the first four conference games, Burks has seen his scoring rise to 14.1 points while shooting 44.7-percent from the floor and 39.1-percent from deep over the last nine while also adding 4.8 boards and 1.4 steals.
