Transfers to Gamecocks
FSouth Carolina
April 27, 2026
Necas will transfer to South Carolina, per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
ANALYSIS
Necas is a big pickup for the Gamecocks, who needed frontcourt help and got it in a big way in the form of Necas, the 6-foot-10 Czech-born forward. Last season at Duquesne, he averaged 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds while starting all 32 games and shooting 50 percent from the field. He should have one more year of eligibility remaining in 2026-27.
