Emejuru averaged 11.3 points and 6.3 rebounds across his 32 games started during Siena's 2023-24 season. After entering the transfer portal on March 20, he commits to George Mason barely over one week later. The team no longer has Amari Kelly eligible to be its primary center, improving Emejuru's chances of filling that role. It is not a given though, considering the current Patriots are expected to have fellow transfer Jalen Haynes (redshirt) available again and recruit more players, including big men.
