Hobbs will make the move to Rice University ahead of the 2025-26 season after spending the last two seasons with Mount Saint Mary's. The 6-foot-1 sophomore appeared in 30 games this past season with the Mountaineers (26 starts), averaging 12.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 0.9 steals on 28 minutes per game. Hobbs, who shot 31.2 percent from three on 5.8 attempts per game last season, will look to carve out a role with the Owls this offseason.
