Duke announced Friday that Boozer (orbital) will forgo his remaining eligibility to enter the 2026 NBA Draft.
ANALYSIS
A likely top-five selection in the draft, Boozer will move on from Duke after a spectacular true freshman season. He suited up in all 38 games for the Blue Devils, averaging 22.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 three-pointers in 33.5 minutes per contest. The 6-foot-9, 250-pound big man suffered multiple fractures around an eye during Duke's loss UConn in the Elite Eight, but the injuries aren't expected to affect his preparation for the draft.
