Carrington's emergence, which can be traced back to the start of the new calendar year, has completely changed the complexion of this team. The senior guard is shooting 40.5 percent from the field and 40.4 percent from distance (on 4.3 triples attempted per game), both of which are career-highs. He's had a few big nights, like his 21-point outing at Minnesota on Jan. 13, his personal revenge game, but he's mainly provided a steady presence in the backcourt. In the huge win over Illinois, he hit two crucial free throws in overtime to help ice the game for the Badgers. His stats won't wow you, but make no mistake -- Carrington has been crucial for Wisconsin's strong showing in Big Ten play thus far.
