As part of Kennesaw State's 2025-26 team, Lue not only logged 10.9 points per game but also averaged 5.3 rebounds. According to Wilson, the player already knowing Tennessee's assistant coach Amorrow Morgan is how UT logged a recruiting advantage. "He (Morgan) hit me up and wanted me to come out there, told me that they (the Volunteers) were interested," Lue recently announced. "They actually want me to help the team." Lue also believes that being part of UT is how he can improve. "Tennessee can bring out what I know I'm capable of," Lue said. "I feel like this (transferring to UT) is the change I need to be great."
