Durkin closed with 20 points (7-8 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 67-63 loss to Wisconsin.
ANALYSIS
Durkin got out to a red-hot start, scoring his team's first eight points and 11 of the Gophers' first 14. While he slowed a bit in the second-half and the Badgers were ultimately able to overcome a 35-17 halftime deficit, Durkin still finished with season-highs in scoring and three-pointers made. He was essentially the X-factor with leading scorer Cade Tyson (20.1 ppg) sidelined by an ankle injury, and could continue to see more offensive looks for as long as Tyson is sidelined.
