Jenkins will undergo surgery on both of his shoulders and will miss West Virginia's participation in the College Basketball Crown, per Daniel Woods of MetroNews.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins reportedly played the entire season with a torn labrum in his left shoulder, and he tore the other one in his right shoulder in a game at TCU in February. Needless to say, he's been shut down for the Mountaineers' postseason tournament, the College Basketball Crown. The freshman guard, who played in all 32 games this season and averaged 3.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists, will look to return to action at the onset of the 2026-27 season.
