Remaining in draft

Graves announced Tuesday that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Santa Clara and keep his name in the 2026 NBA Draft, Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Though he had lucrative NIL offers on the table had he opted to delay his professional career and return to college while entering the transfer portal, Graves will ultimately move on to the NBA after apparently coming away convinced during the pre-draft process that he would be a likely first-round selection. After taking a redshirt during his first season at Santa Clara in 2024-25, Graves took home West Coast Conference Sixth Man of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2025-26 while averaging 11.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.9 steals, 1.8 assists, 1.1 three-pointers and 0.9 three-pointers in 22.6 minutes per game over 35 appearances.
