Wooley is expected to make a big leap during Louisville's 2026-27 season, according to Matt McGavic of Sports Illustrated.
ANALYSIS
As part of Louisville, the 2026-27 NCAA season will be Wooley's second. He was a regular part of the 2025-26 Cardinals' rotation, with each of their 35 games including his 10-plus minutes. Wooley played behind Mikel Brown, but because of injuries, the former logged 16 starts and averaged 10.9 points. Brown has entered the NBA draft, and even with Jackson Shelstad joining Louisville's backcourt, Wooley regularly starting is to be expected. With that in mind, so is a statistical leap, especially now that he has a season of experience under his belt.
