"Jones has played a critical role in Denver's success despite numerous injuries," MacMahon said. "The Nuggets have gone 12-9 with him in the starting lineup. The 6-foot-7, 225-pound Jones is a versatile defender who has averaged 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals while shooting 53.6 percent from the floor and 41.4 percent from three-point range in his starts." MacMahon added that the Nuggets view this conversion as a priority, and it's clear that the team intends to keep him involved in the rotation.
