2025 Fantasy Outlook
After spending a year and a half as a lead option for the struggling Nets, Bridges was dealt to the Knicks ahead of last season. He was decidedly behind Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns in the offensive pecking order. While Bridges' usage rate declined significantly - from 24.3 USG% to 19.6 USG% - his numbers didn't sink drastically since he saw an extra 2.2 minutes per game. The result was 17.6 points and 2.0 threes on 50/35/81 shooting with 3.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 combined steals-plus-blocks in 37.0 minutes. New York's starting five should be the same this season, but coach Tom Thibodeau has been replaced with Mike Brown. Thibodeau is notorious for playing his key players massive minutes. Will Brown do the same, or will Bridges' workload drop down to a more normal 33-35 minutes? If so, that could result in another decrease in overall production. The 29-year-old wing should remain efficient, and he never gets injured, but that can only get him so far. He has a relatively high floor in fantasy, but there are going to be a lot of players with more upside in his draft range. Read Past Outlooks

After finishing 12th in eight-category leagues in 2022-23, Bridges fell to 41st last year, mostly due to his free-throw percentage dropping from 89.5 percent to 81.4 -- his lowest mark since his rookie campaign. After serving as a role player in Phoenix, Bridges' stats ballooned in Brooklyn, but the Nets weren't competitive and shipped the forward to the Knicks to play with his college teammates -- Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo. However, the Knicks weren't done yet. They made another blockbuster trade right before training camp, sending DiVincenzo and Julius Randle to Minnesota in exchange for Karl-Anthony Towns. With many mouths to feed in New York, including a healthy OG Anunoby, Bridges' offensive stats are subject to drop after operating as the No. 1 option in Brooklyn. However, Bridges proved he could be a viable fantasy starter while assuming a secondary offensive role in Phoenix, finishing inside the top 35 in each of his final two full seasons with the Suns. In order to do that again, Bridges will need to get back to efficient offense and elite defensive production, which happens to be coach Tom Thibodeau's bread and butter.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Shining defensively
Bridges has been shining defensively while operating as the primary defender on Tyrese Maxey in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, according to Ian Begley of SNY.tv.
ANALYSIS
Bridges' defensive effort against Maxey has been a huge reason the Knicks hold a 3-0 series lead. Maxey is averaging just 18.6 points per game in the series, which is a huge downgrade compared to his regular-season numbers. Bridges should continue to operate in the same role in Game 4 on Sunday.
