2025 Fantasy Outlook
Schroder played for three teams last season -- Brooklyn, Golden State and Detroit. His overall production was similar to the past half-decade as a fringe starter at point guard. This summer, he was dealt from the Pistons to the Kings. It's possible he starts for the Kings, but he has competition with Malik Monk, Keon Ellis, Russell Westbrook and Devin Carter for minutes. There also isn't an immense upside, as Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine will handle the bulk of the offense. Read Past Outlooks
Late addition to injury report
Schroder (illness) has been downgraded to questionable for Monday's Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Schroder is under the weather and may sit out Monday's do-or-die matchup. If the veteran point guard is unable to suit up, Sam Merrill, Max Strus and Keon Ellis would all be candidates to pick up a few extra minutes.

Schroder was a solid fantasy option last season because he was the starting point guard for a terrible Toronto team. The veteran is walking into a similar situation this season, as he'll likely run point for Brooklyn. The Nets acquired him at the deadline last season, and Schroder averaged 15.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.4 blocks and 2.2 threes over the final 22 games. That's quite the stat line from a player who was taken at the end of drafts last year. It's safe to expect something similar since the Nets might have the worst roster in the NBA, allowing Schroder to play heavy minutes and rack up stats. The one big question mark is Ben Simmons, who could take ball-handling duties away from Schroder. The Aussie has barely played over the last five years, and we have to assume he won't do much once again. Cam Thomas is the only other player taking away usage, but Schroder should still be the team's primary playmaker. Given Brooklyn is rebuilding, he may be traded at some point, but look for Schroder to be a reliable fantasy asset through the first half of the season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Continues to struggle from deep
Schroder has been struggling with his three-point shot in the first few weeks of the 2025-26 season, according to Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee.
ANALYSIS
Schroder has had a tough time adjusting to life in Sacramento, and the veteran floor general has had a ton of trouble producing offensively. He went scoreless in the loss to the Nuggets on Tuesday and is shooting just 27.7 percent from deep in 2025-26. That figure would be a career-low mark for the German floor general. Schroder is also shooting 38.3 percent from the floor this season, including a mere 1-for-19 in his past three games.
