2025 Fantasy Outlook
Following another modest season in Orlando, Anthony landed in Milwaukee during the offseason, after being waived by the Grizzlies following a trade. Anthony played a total of 67 games during the 2024-25 season, averaging 9.4 points to go with 3.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 three-pointers in just 18.4 minutes per contest. With Damian Lillard back in Portland, the point guard spot in Milwaukee is seemingly there for the taking. While Kevin Porter appears to have the inside running, he is by no means a proven commodity. Anthony should see close to 20 minutes per game out of the gate, with a chance he plays more if Porter fails to be productive. Ryan Rollins is also in the mix, making the point guard discussion a tricky one when it comes to who will emerge victorious. Read Past Outlooks
Cut loose by Suns
The Suns waived Anthony on Friday, per Shams Charania of ESPN.
ANALYSIS
The Suns acquired Anthony at the trade deadline in a deal with the Bucks, but the guard never joined the team and is now free to sign elsewhere on the open market. On the year, Anthony has averaged 6.7 points, 3.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per tilt through 35 games with Milwaukee and should attract some attention from clubs in need of backcourt reinforcements.

Anthony set a new career high with 81 regular-season games played in 2023-24, surpassing his previous high of 65 appearances during his sophomore season in 2021-22. Amidst the increased games played, Anthony saw reductions in his minutes, points, rebounds, assists and three-pointers made per game compared to the previous two seasons. Nonetheless, he remained a critical piece for the Magic's young core as they put together an impressive season, finishing fifth place in the East. Anthony averaged the team's sixth-most minutes per game and led the team in games played during the 2023-24 campaign. His regular season was highlighted by several impressive performances, including a season-high 30 points on 9-for-16 shooting in a home win over the Hornets in November. Anthony had 21 outings with more than 15 points. He also had two double-doubles with points and rebounds and logged more than five assists on 12 occasions. Regular season and playoffs combined, Anthony recorded 21 games with zero turnovers, averaging 9.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 20.9 minutes over those games. Looking ahead, he is set to remain the leader of the second unit, playing a key bench role for the emerging squad. Anthony has room for improvement with his shooting efficiency but has shown he can help close games when hot from the field.

Expected to be waived
The Suns are expected to waive Anthony, according to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.
ANALYSIS
Phoenix acquired the sixth-year guard in a three-team trade just before the Feb. 5 trade deadline, but it seems he won't be reporting to Phoenix and will instead become a free agent after clearing waivers. Anthony spent the first five years of his career with the Magic and the first half of the 2025-26 campaign with the Bucks, who signed him to a two-year deal after he was cut by the Grizzlies, who acquired him from Orlando last offseason in the deal that sent Desmond Bane to the Magic.
