2025 Fantasy Outlook
Dosunmu was a beneficiary last season of the Bulls moving on from DeMar DeRozan before the year and Zach LaVine during the year. However, he saw much less of a boost than Josh Giddey and Coby White. Dosunmu continues to leave something to be desired, as he doesn't really have a standout skill. Passing is arguably his best trait, and he averaged just 4.5 assists (1.5 turnovers) in his 30.3 minutes last season. His three-point shooting has also waxed and waned during his career, and he shot just 32.8 percent from distance last year. There's some value for fantasy managers in deep leagues to spend a late pick on him, but with Dosunmu already 25 years old and not guaranteed a starting role, there's only so much upside aside from injuries to his teammates. Nears double-double in loss
Dosunmu finished with 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine assists and one rebound in 23 minutes during Friday's 139-109 loss to the Spurs in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
Dosunmu wasn't very aggressive hunting his shot but got his teammates involved, dishing out a game-high-tying nine assists. The 26-year-old guard was also one of five Minnesota players to score in double figures. Dosunmu was traded from Chicago to Minnesota ahead of the February deadline and averaged 14.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 28.8 minutes per tilt across 24 regular-season appearances with the Timberwolves. He's set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason and should garner plenty of interest.

The Bulls were shorthanded at guard for much of last season. Lonzo Ball missed the entire campaign, and injuries limited Zach LaVine to only 25 games. On the bright side, Dosunmu stepped up his production in an expanded role. Dosunmu logged 29.1 minutes per game, which helped him average 12.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 0.9 steals. Dosunmu's biggest improvement came from behind the arc, where he averaged 1.6 made three-pointers and shot 40.3 percent. Dosunmu shot just 31.2 percent on three-pointers the previous season. The Bulls wanted to get younger this past offseason, moving on from DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso. They have tried to part ways with LaVine but have been unable to find a deal to their liking. Coby White is still in the fold after a breakout season of his own, and the Bulls netted Josh Giddey when they traded Caruso to the Thunder. That means even if LaVine were to be dealt at some point, Dosunmu is likely ticketed for another limited role off the bench. Dosunmu is worth a look late in drafts, but he shouldn't be considered as anything more than a bench player in standard-sized fantasy leagues.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could re-sign with Minnesota
Dosunmu is expected to re-sign with the Timberwolves in the offseason, according to Tim Bontemps of ESPN.
ANALYSIS
Dosunmu joined the Timberwolves just before the trade deadline, averaging 14.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in 24 regular-season contests with Minnesota. He averaged 15.6 points per game in the playoffs, including a 43-point outburst against the Nuggets on April 25.
