2025 Fantasy Outlook
The No. 11 overall pick in 2024, Bona didn't have much of a role to begin his rookie campaign. However, with Joel Embiid being limited to 19 games, coach Nick Nurse needed to figure out a big man situation. Bona started getting more run in December, January and February - routinely seeing minutes in the low-to-mid teens. Once the season fell apart completely in March and April, Bona was given a starter's role and averaged 13.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.1 steals in 28.9 minutes across his final 15 appearances, which also coincided with Andre Drummond missing time. Early indications on Embiid's recurring knee issues haven't been positive, and fantasy managers probably shouldn't trust him to play 55 games. That means there will be plenty of points throughout 2025-26 where Bona sees significant minutes at center. There's still a question of how big his workload will be compared to Andre Drummond's, though Drummond will be 33 years old before the start of the season and hasn't been as healthy as he was to begin his career. There's a best-case scenario where Bona averages minutes in the low-to-mid-20s based on absences to Embiid, Embiid playing fewer minutes in general, and Drummond declining. Fantasy managers in standard leagues don't have to draft Bona, given the amount of dominoes that would have to fall, but those in two-center leagues and deeper formats should keep him on the radar. Questionable for Sunday
Bona (back) is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Bona could get hit with a maintenance day on the second leg of a back-to-back set, and with Andre Drummond (back) also questionable, the 76ers could be very thin up front Sunday. Check back for official word on Bona's status closer to tipoff.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Gaining valuable experience
Bona has been taken under the wing of veteran center Andre Drummond, Adam Aaronson of the Philly Voice reports.
ANALYSIS
Drummond has been mentoring Bona for about the last year or so as the two take turns backing up star center Joel Embiid. Aaronson notes that Drummond is constantly nagging Bona to not think as much while he's on the court. It's also an interesting balancing act for coach Nick Nurse, as both Drummond and Bona regularly move in and out of the rotation depending on Embiid's availability and that night's matchup. "I think we want them to be ready, but it's not as easy as, 'Why can't they just be ready?' It's just not that easy," said Nurse. "I think there is a lot of ups and downs with that. I think we've got to do it by feel. But they're not alone in that." Nurse went on to note that he typically wants Bona on the floor more against teams who will push the pace, while Drummond is a better option against stronger teams.
