2025 Fantasy Outlook
The No. 11 overall pick in 2024, Bona didn't have much of a role to begin his rookie campaign. However, with Joel Embiid being limited to 19 games, coach Nick Nurse needed to figure out a big man situation. Bona started getting more run in December, January and February - routinely seeing minutes in the low-to-mid teens. Once the season fell apart completely in March and April, Bona was given a starter's role and averaged 13.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.1 steals in 28.9 minutes across his final 15 appearances, which also coincided with Andre Drummond missing time. Early indications on Embiid's recurring knee issues haven't been positive, and fantasy managers probably shouldn't trust him to play 55 games. That means there will be plenty of points throughout 2025-26 where Bona sees significant minutes at center. There's still a question of how big his workload will be compared to Andre Drummond's, though Drummond will be 33 years old before the start of the season and hasn't been as healthy as he was to begin his career. There's a best-case scenario where Bona averages minutes in the low-to-mid-20s based on absences to Embiid, Embiid playing fewer minutes in general, and Drummond declining. Fantasy managers in standard leagues don't have to draft Bona, given the amount of dominoes that would have to fall, but those in two-center leagues and deeper formats should keep him on the radar. Finishes up serviceable campaign
Bona supplied seven points (2-2 FG, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and one block across 10 minutes during Sunday's 144-114 loss to New York in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
With Joel Embiid having his workload managed throughout the year, Bona wound up making a career-high 18 starts during the regular season while averaging 4.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 17.4 minutes per contest over 71 games. Andre Drummond is an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so Bona could take another step forward in 2026-27 as the top backup center behind Embiid.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Evidenced struggles as sophomore
Bona struggled in several areas during the 2025-26 season with the 76ers, according to Adam Aaronson of The Philly Voice.
ANALYSIS
Bona excelled as a rim protector, with his 3.2 blocked shots per 100 possessions during the regular season ranking ninth-best in the league. However, Aaronson also identified areas in which the second-year big man struggled, mainly his reads, his defensive rebounding ability and his offensive touches near the rim. Unless that changes, Bona might be better suited to be a third-string center rather than the primary backup behind Joel Embiid in the 2026-27 season. Aaronson also believes next season will be a "make or break" year for the 24-year-old.
