2024 Fantasy Outlook
Go had a stellar seven-year run in the Korea Baseball Organization, collecting a 3.18 ERA and 401:163 K:BB over 368.1 innings with the LG Twins. The 25-year-old was the Twins' closer for the last five of those campaigns, recording 139 saves and helping the Twins to their first KBO title in 29 years in 2023. Go's numbers did back up a bit this past season with a 3.68 ERA and 11.6 percent walk rate, although that could at least partly be blamed on a nagging back injury. The Padres were undeterred in handing him a $4.5 million deal over the winter and are expected to give him a chance to compete for their closing gig left vacant by Josh Hader. Fellow Asian import Yuki Matsui and holdover Robert Suarez will also be in the mix. Read Past Outlooks
