ANALYSIS
The 24-year-old was let go by the Brewers at the start of November but will now receive an opportunity with Oakland. Supak was named the Southern League's Most Outstanding Pitcher in 2019 after delivering a 2.20 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 91:23 K:BB over 122.2 innings at Double-A, but he struggled once moving up to Triple-A. He was at Milwaukee's alternate training site in 2020 and spent one day in the majors but didn't pitch.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Supak impressed in his return trip to Double-A Biloxi, earning Pitcher of the Year honors in the Southern League by going 11-4 with a 2.20 ERA and league-best 0.87 WHIP in 20 starts (122.2 innings) for the Shuckers. The 23-year-old came within one out of a no-hitter twice, illustrating his impressive form with Biloxi. He earned a promotion to Triple-A San Antonio at the end of July but struggled in his first tour of the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League, posting a 9.30 ERA and 1.67 WHIP in seven starts (30 innings) with the Missions. While the 6-foot-5 righty doesn't miss many bats (career 7.8 K/9), he could develop into a reliable back-end starter thanks to his above-average control (career 2.6 BB/9) and a four-pitch repertoire. Supak figures to return to Triple-A for more seasoning to begin the 2020 campaign, though he should make his big-league debut at some point assuming he holds his own.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Short stay in San Antonio?
Supak, who struck out eight over 6.2 scoreless innings Friday in his second start for Triple-A San Antonio, may be needed at the major-league level before long.
ANALYSIS
Friday's start was his eighth scoreless outing of the season and a nice rebound after Supak gave up three homers in his debut with San Antonio. The 23-year-old right-hander now has a 2.28 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 105:26 K:BB in 134.1 innings between Double-A and Triple-A this season. Supak is on the 40-man roster and Brewers starting pitchers rank 10th in the National League in cumulative fWAR this season (6.2). Another injury and/or a few more blowups could result in Supak getting the call.
