Notches save Sunday
Saucedo recorded one out to earn a save over the Royals on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Saucedo needed only two pitches to record the final out of the 10th inning during Sunday's win. He's picked up two saves and a hold this month despite getting only four outs during those three appearances. He lowered his ERA to 2.81 through 16 innings this season. Saucedo shouldn't see many save chances moving forward as Andres Munoz (back) returned to action Sunday.

Should start rehab assignment soon
Saucedo is dealing with a hip injury but is expected to start a rehab assignment sooner than later, according to MLB.com.
ANALYSIS
Saucedo has been out since late April due to right hip discomfort and has been throwing for the Blue Jays' affiliate in the Florida Complex League recently, so the next step should be to go out on a rehab assignment in the coming days. The ideal scenario would be to have the southpaw back in Toronto's bullpen before the end of June. He owns a 13.50 ERA across four appearances at the big-league level this season.
