Enough undersized hitting prospects have gone on to have massive MLB success in recent years that Williams doesn't face as much skepticism as he may have five or 10 years ago. A 5-foot-6, 175-pound up-the-middle defender with 70-grade speed, Williams has a keen eye and is adept at making pitchers throw him something he can drive. He had 13 home runs and 45 steals on 52 attempts in 121 games as a 19-year-old across Single-A, High-A and Double-A. Williams logged an excellent 35.9 Hard% while showcasing his masterful command of the zone (22.1 K%, 19.5 BB%). His groundball rate was under 35% at both Single-A and High-A, so Williams should be able to get the most of his power potential. He played 92 games at shortstop and 21 games in center field, with second base and left field also being obvious spots he could play as needed.
