The right-hander has two MLB relief appearances under his belt but could now be called upon for his first start in the big leagues. Boushley had a 4.54 ERA through his first eight starts of the season for Triple-A St. Paul, though he's pitched to a 2.10 ERA in his past five outings. Louie Varland could also be in the mix to fill the rotation spot, but the fact he's surrendered 17 earned runs in his past two outings makes him a less appealing candidate.
