Marlowe got his first taste of MLB action in 2023, and he got off to a strong start and was seeing regular playing time in the outfield after Jarred Kelenic broke a bone in his left foot. He struggled mightily to end his campaign with 15 strikeouts in his final 32 at-bats while hitting just .133 over his final dozen games. The contact issues were readily apparent, but there were plenty of flashes that suggest he can play at the highest level, however, as the outfielder showed off upper-echelon speed and walked in 12 percent of his plate appearances. Marlowe profiles more as a bench player with limited fantasy upside, but his speed and potential to get on at a solid clip would make him worthy of a look if he earns regular playing time at some point.
