Monasterio was an unheralded prospect that had a decent debut season in 2023 with a .678 OPS and plus-eight defensive runs saved in 92 games, but he played a lesser role in 2024 with a .575 OPS in 59 contests. The Brewers kept him on the 40-man roster through the non-tender deadline, but he's certainly not guaranteed to retain that spot through the offseason.
