Groshans made his MLB debut in 2022 and had a .619 OPS in 17 games for Miami, but he didn't make it back to the big leagues last season. The 24-year-old spent the full campaign at Triple-A Jacksonville, where he posted a disappointing .244/.344/.341 slash line in 125 contests. He's a high-contact hitter with good plate discipline (17.4 percent strikeout rate, 12.7 percent walk rate last year), but he has just 23 home runs and a .108 ISO in 374 games during his minor-league career. The lack of pop makes Groshans an unattractive option at both corner infield spots, and he may need a strong rebound in 2024 in order to sniff the big leagues again. Read Past Outlooks
