Dubon opened 2023 as Houston's primary second baseman with Jose Altuve on the injured list and took advantage of the opportunity by hitting .309 in 37 games before Altuve was activated in mid-May. Dubon scored 27 runs during that stretch but had little other substance with no homers, eight RBI and three steals. He filled a super-utility role the rest of the way, though he split most of his playing time between center field and the keystone. He finished the campaign with a .720 OPS (97 wRC+) and is positioned to fill the utility role again in 2024 with the Astros returning most of their lineup. Dubon likely won't have much fantasy utility while Houston is healthy, but he could carve out a larger role if/when injuries surface. Read Past Outlooks
