Rosario was a solid, albeit underwhelming fantasy option at shortstop from 2021-22, compiling his way to decent five-category production. His Statcast data in 2023, at least offensively, said he was basically the same player, but Rosario's already-modest power numbers sank and he continued to look rather helpless against right-handed pitching (.636 OPS). Also, his defense at shortstop went from bad to borderline unplayable and the Guardians wound up trading him to the Dodgers at the deadline. Rosario was used primarily at second base in Los Angeles, but playing time was sporadic.
