Zulueta, 27, was a rising prospect with the Blue Jays but was exposed to waivers during spring training last year, and the Reds swooped in and assigned him to Triple-A Louisville. He made his MLB debut in 2024, taking the Louisville-to-Cincinnati shuttle six times between June and the end of the season. He throws gas - 84th percentile in MLB - but control issues have dogged him since blipping the baseball radar in Toronto.
