In his second MLB season, Faedo showed some signs of progress. After posting a 5.53 ERA and 1.64 WHIP as a rookie in 2022, he lowered those figures to 4.45 and 1.05, respectively. Faedo didn't miss a ton more bats, as his K/9 climbed from 7.38 to just 8.07, but he was able to significantly cut down on the free passes. After posting a 4.19 BB/9 in 2022, the righty lowered that to 2.78. The next step for Faedo is to increase his workload. The 27-year-old has logged a total of just 118.1 innings across his two MLB campaigns. If Faedo can stay in the rotation all year, he could see that number climb upward rapidly, though it's no guarantee he'll stick as a starter. The Tigers should have Matt Manning (foot) and Casey Mize (elbow) rejoining the rotation, and Kenta Maeda also joined the team in the offseason. With the likes of Tarik Skubal and Reese Olson around as well, Faedo may end up on the outside looking in. As a result, his fantasy outlook is a bit murky at this point. Read Past Outlooks
