Taylor saw his OPS gradually decline since he seeing regular major-league action in 2021 with the Brewers. That trend continued while playing for the Mets in 2025, but his .598 OPS (in 340 plate appearances) was a dramatic drop off from the .700 he posted the year prior. Taylor did log double-digit steals for a second consecutive year, but he doesn't appear to have a clear path to an everyday role in the outfield and unless he beats out No. 2 prospect Carson Benge for a starting spot alongside Juan Soto and the recently acquired Luis Robert. Taylor's fielding ability gives him a decent shot at regular playing time, but he doesn't bring much fantasy value outside of what he brings to the table with his baserunning. Read Past Outlooks
