2026 Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
To say Beck had a shaky start to his tenure in the majors would be generous. He hit only .188 with a 35.3 percent strikeout rate across 184 plate appearances in 2024, and he then struggled mightily in spring training to begin 2025. Beck was still awarded a roster spot to begin the regular season, before enduring a brief demotion in early April. He returned roughly two weeks later and stuck in the majors from there. In the next five months, Beck logged an intriguing 16 home runs and 19 stolen bases across 588 plate appearances. His peripheral stats painted a less encouraging picture, as he had league-average power metrics and his strikeout rate ballooned to 29.6 percent due to a poor second half. Nevertheless, there are reasons for optimism heading into 2026. Beck has 83rd percentile sprint speed per Statcast, and he wasn't afraid to use it by attempting 27 stolen bases. Furthermore, while his barrel rate and flyball rate were league-average at best, Beck maximized his power potential with a fairly strong 17.2 percent pull air rate. Perhaps most surprising, the Rockies didn't mess with Beck's playing time, as he played nearly every day after returning to the majors and projects to be the team's primary left fielder in 2025. Even accounting for his struggles to hit for average away from Coors Field, Beck has 20-20 potential. With some improvement in his contact rate and some assistance from his home park, Beck could hit for a respectable average and develop into a viable back-end fantasy outfielder in deeper formats.
