Clase, a three-time All-Star who led the majors in saves during the 2022, 2023 and 2024 campaigns, registered 24 saves for the Guardians last season before missing the final two-plus months while being investigated by MLB. In November 2025, the 27-year-old was indicted on multiple federal charges related to rigging bets on pitches thrown during games.
