Seth Brown News: Parts ways with Yankees

Brown was released by Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.

Brown joined the Yankees on a minor-league contract in January and was unable to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster. The 33-year-old will now hit the open market after posting a .235/.327/.426 slash line with nine homers in 53 games with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
