Michael Soroka Injury: Closing in on mound work
Soroka (glute) is expected to begin throwing bullpen sessions twice weekly starting Tuesday, MLB.com reports.
Soroka, who landed on the 15-day injured list June 20 due to left glute discomfort, appears likely to miss more than the minimum amount of time. A clearer target date for his return from the IL should become available once he advances to facing hitters.
