David Sandlin News: Sent down to Triple-A

The White Sox optioned Sandlin to Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.

Sandlin gave up just one run over six innings during his start against the Royals on Friday, but he'll now head back to Triple-A with Noah Schultz (knee) expected to rejoin Chicago's rotation next week. Tyler Schweitzer was recalled from Charlotte in a corresponding move.
