Chris Bassitt Injury: Undergoes minor procedure
Bassitt (back) underwent a minor procedure to have bone spurs removed from his back, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.
Bassitt was placed on the injured list June 8 with low back discomfort, and now his return to the major-league mound will be further delayed after undergoing a minor back procedure. General Manager Mike Elias said that the team will see where the 37-year-old is in a "couple weeks" and then see if he can begin throwing again.
