Blaine Crim News: Cut loose by Rangers

The Rangers placed Crim on release waivers Wednesday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Crim was claimed off waivers from Colorado in May, but the Rangers will now place him on release waivers to allow him to pursue an opportunity overseas. The 29-year-old has spent the entire season at Triple-A up to this point, slashing .265/.341/.453 across 252 plate appearances.
