Aramis Garcia News: Outrighted to Triple-A
The Diamondbacks outrighted Garcia to Triple-A Reno on Sunday.
Garcia was designated for assignment by the Diamondbacks on Friday, and after clearing waivers, he'll stick around in the organization as a member of the Triple-A roster. The 33-year-old appeared in three contests with Arizona while serving as the No. 3 catcher with Gabriel Moreno sidelined due to an oblique injury, but he received only three plate appearances, going 1-for-3 with a strikeout.
